Champagne Cazé-Thibaut
Tenth generation vigneron Fabien Cazé works an isolated 2,5 hectares of his family’s vineyards for his own small and ambitious project under the label Champagne Cazé-Thibaut.
Location: Sampigny-lès-Maranges, France
Talloulah and Hugo Mathurin are a couple of young and wildly talented people who make wine in Les Maranges, a more discreet area of Burgundy which is located slightly east from the daunting slopes of Chassagne- and Puligny-Montrachet. The domaine was founded in troublesome 2020, and the goal is to convert all 5 hectares to organic viticulture by the end of 2023.
Both Talloulah and Hugo are trained oenologists and have experience from working with heavyweights in Bourgogne – and it shows. The wines dance along the edge of tradition and contemporary viniculture (take the aligoté stored in both oak and afterwards amphora as an example). We adore the people, we adore their wines, and we are sure you will too.

Gianni Mancassola and Cinzia Caiazzo visited the Azores for the first time in 2008 and immediately fell in love with the extreme landscape and remarkable climate.

This is very much a family business with mom, pops, and the two children doing all the work in both vineyard, cellar, and in the office. Piero Busso is still at the helm of the domaine that he established in the early 1950s.
