The legendary Graillot family has a long history of making wine in the Northern Rhone, where their ability to produce some of the most characteristic Syrah in the world. Given the abilities of this winemaking family, it is only natural that they sought to explore other regions.
Owner and winemaker for both Domaine des Lises and Domaine Alain Graillot, Maxime Graillot and his brother Antoine, decided to look for a new project further north. In 2013, they discovered and purchased a 5 hectare vineyard named ‘En Besset’, located in the northernmost section of the Beaujolais near Saint Amour and Julienas. They also purchased two amazing parcels in the top crus of Fleurie and Saint Amour. They farm and run the vineyards with the same low-key principles as they have done further south. Respect for nature is key.

Orginally from Cadiz, her love for the Mencía grape brought her to Bierzo in Galicia, Spain. Since then, Veronica has quickly become a reference winemaker in the region as she balances between the classic and natural expression of Bierzo. Veronica has worked in several places throughout Europe before settling in Valtuille de Abajo in 2012. here, she worked alongside Raúl Pérez in his winery where she made her first couple vintages until moving into her own winery.
Guillaume Rouget (son of the famous Emmanuel Rouget who was the apprentice of the legendary Burgundian grand master Henri Jayer), and Frédéric Jametton have joined forces to create a new project in the Beaujolais. Domaine Vernus is located in the hillside town of Régnié-Durette in the heart of the region.
