René Rostaing founded the now legendary Domaine Rostaing back in 1971 during a period where most of the world had forgotten about the wavy hills of Côte-Rôtie in the northern part of the Rhône Valley. He started out with just under 1 hectare of vineyards, split between the Côte Blonde and La Landonne. Since that time, his holding have increased considerably, and the domaine once boasted more than 20 hectares of vines in the region.
Pierre (pictured above), the son of René, has been in charge at the domaine since the late 1990s, and together with his team he now manages around 11 hectares in and around Côte-Rôtie. The domaine is still producing incredible wines with power and finesse – true Northern Rhône style.
Domaine Rostaing also owns an estate in the Languedoc region in the South of France where they produce cool whites and elegant reds that express the philosophy of the family while expanding their repertoire of winemaking knowledge.

The Cantalapiedra family has made wine from several generations in the municipality of La Seca, half an hour southwest of Valladolid in Castilla y Leon; heart of the Rueda appellation. There are records of the Cantalapiedras’ grape-growing dating to the 19th century, but the current version of the domaine can be traced directly to the year 1949, when the grandfather, Heliodoro, planted his first vineyard plot at young age of 15
Fabrice studied enology in Beaune before fine tuning his skills as a winemaker at the Cooperative of Pupillin. He started working at Domaine de Saint Pierre in 1989 as a manager and took full control in 2011. The Domaine achieved organic certification in 2012, having started conversion in 2002.
