Champagne Cazé-Thibaut
Tenth generation vigneron Fabien Cazé works an isolated 2,5 hectares of his family’s vineyards for his own small and ambitious project under the label Champagne Cazé-Thibaut.
Location: France
Maxime was 20 years old when he was left in charge of the famed Domaine Georges Noëllat in Vosne-Romanée. This was in 2010, and now, more than a decade later, he has achieved an almost cult-like status for his wines and is still one of Burgundy’s most revered winemakers.
Maxime finished winemaking school in Beaune around 2009 and interned at two other well-known domaines in Vosne-Romanée, Gros Frere et Soeur and Emmanuel Rouget (his uncle) before settling into his new role at Georges Noëllat. The wines from Maxime’s hands are some of the most delicate yet powerful examples of Pinot Noir in our portfolio, and it is an absolute pleasure for us to be able to share them with you.

Maxime Graillot, a larger-than-life vigneron (and son of legendary winemaker Alain Graillot), has the same innovative and forward-thinking spirit as his father. In 2004, to cement the family’s name in the Northern Rhône, Maxime managed to acquire quite a few vineyards situated in the Beaumont-Monteux commune of Crozes-Hermitage.
While the legendary Domaine Comtes Lafon often steals the spotlight, the Lafon family has been doing exceptional work in the under-appreciated region of Mâconnais in the southern part of Burgundy for more than 20 years.
