Piero Busso
This is very much a family business with mom, pops, and the two children doing all the work in both vineyard, cellar, and in the office. Piero Busso is still at the helm of the domaine that he established in the early 1950s.
Location: France
Maxime was 20 years old when he was left in charge of the famed Domaine Georges Noëllat in Vosne-Romanée. This was in 2010, and now, more than a decade later, he has achieved an almost cult-like status for his wines and is still one of Burgundy’s most revered winemakers.
Maxime finished winemaking school in Beaune around 2009 and interned at two other well-known domaines in Vosne-Romanée, Gros Frere et Soeur and Emmanuel Rouget (his uncle) before settling into his new role at Georges Noëllat. The wines from Maxime’s hands are some of the most delicate yet powerful examples of Pinot Noir in our portfolio, and it is an absolute pleasure for us to be able to share them with you.

Talloulah and Hugo Mathurin are a couple of young and wildly talented people who make wine in Les Maranges, a more discreet area of Burgundy which is located slightly east from the daunting slopes of Chassagne- and Puligny-Montrachet.
Eponymous with Chambolle, Ghislaine Barthod works around 6 hectares in this legendary part of Burgundy. While the plots are scattered and the soil varies, it mainly consists of limestone in different states.
