Piero Busso
This is very much a family business with mom, pops, and the two children doing all the work in both vineyard, cellar, and in the office. Piero Busso is still at the helm of the domaine that he established in the early 1950s.
Location: France
René Rostaing founded the now legendary Domaine Rostaing back in 1971 during a period where most of the world had forgotten about the wavy hills of Côte-Rôtie in the northern part of the Rhône Valley. He started out with just under 1 hectare of vineyards, split between the Côte Blonde and La Landonne. Since that time, his holding have increased considerably, and the domaine once boasted more than 20 hectares of vines in the region.
Pierre (pictured above), the son of René, has been in charge at the domaine since the late 1990s, and together with his team he now manages around 11 hectares in and around Côte-Rôtie. The domaine is still producing incredible wines with power and finesse – true Northern Rhône style.
Domaine Rostaing also owns an estate in the Languedoc region in the South of France where they produce cool whites and elegant reds that express the philosophy of the family while expanding their repertoire of winemaking knowledge.

Since then, Veronica has quickly become a reference winemaker in the region as she balances between the classic and natural expression of Bierzo. Veronica has worked in several places throughout Europe before settling in Valtuille de Abajo in 2012. here, she worked alongside Raúl Pérez in his winery where she made her first couple vintages until moving into her own winery.
