Without question one of the most interesting domaines from the coveted region of Jura. Julien Marechal studied in Burgundy for a period of time before turning to the Jura to make wines on his miniscule 5 hectares where the age of the vines vary between 7 and 77 years. He produces Ploussard, Trousseau, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Savagnin, and they all contain bundles of energy and a proper slatey, rocky and smokey Jura expression.
The quality is through the roof, and we often find ourselves turning to Julien’s wines when we want to impress family and friends.

Situated in the southern part of the Côte de Beaune in Burgundy, The Chevrot family has been making wine in Les Maranges since 1830. Today, the two brothers Pablo and Vincent Chevrot run the show, and they are combining old school techniques with a modern mindset to produce fresh, lively and balanced wines.
The Savart estate is located 10 kilometers west of Reims, at Ecueil near Montagne de Reims. Here, Frederic has taken over his father’s vineyard consisting of 4ha of Pinot Noir and a touch of Chardonnay. His philosophy in the vineyards is to prevent disease as much as possible, rather than treat it. He prefers a holistic approach, creating an environment within which the plant is better equipped to resist malady on its own.
Based in the small village of Priocca, home to vineyards and hazelnut trees, Bricco Ernesto aka. Renato Vezza is making tiny amounts of great wines from his grandfather’s vineyards. Back in the day “Ernesto “ refused to sell the vineyards because he wanted to leave them to his grandson, which is why the wine is called Bricco Ernesto.
