The legendary Graillot family has a long history of making wine in the Northern Rhone, where their ability to produce some of the most characteristic Syrah in the world. Given the abilities of this winemaking family, it is only natural that they sought to explore other regions.
Owner and winemaker for both Domaine des Lises and Domaine Alain Graillot, Maxime Graillot and his brother Antoine, decided to look for a new project further north. In 2013, they discovered and purchased a 5 hectare vineyard named ‘En Besset’, located in the northernmost section of the Beaujolais near Saint Amour and Julienas. They also purchased two amazing parcels in the top crus of Fleurie and Saint Amour. They farm and run the vineyards with the same low-key principles as they have done further south. Respect for nature is key.

Trediberri, literally translating to “the three from Berri”, is run by father-and-son team Federico and Nicola Oberto, together with their good friend Vladimiro.
