The famous La Landonne, located in the middle of Côte-Rôtie close to the river, is one of the steepest vineyards in the Côte-Rôtie (45 degrees some places!), the soil consists of schist and dark granite (very rich in iron). Vines are between 30-70 years old. Always fermentation with wild yeast, and maceration for about 10 days. Fermented and stored in old and new oak barrels for upwards towards 24 months. Very limited quantity.
