From the legendary Graillot-family. Côte de Besset is another single vineyard from the region that sits high above the remaining crus in Beaujolais (400m above the sea). The 40 -year-old vines sit in crush granite and sandy soils. Here, they use whole cluster fermentation and semi-carbonic maceration. The wine is then aged for 3 years in old oak barrels. All their practices are organic, but they are also using biodynamic principles.
