Probably the most famous appellation within the Macônnais, Pouilly-Fuissé boasts an incredibly diverse soil structure as well as slopey hills situated in the southern part of Burgundy. The small 1.5 ha plot of En Chatenay is located in the north-eastern corner of the appellation and consists of iron-rich clay on top of limestone. It is a razor sharp Chardonnay with smokey and flinty notes.
