Vinhos Desviso is the happy detour of Scott and Marta, an American-Portuguese couple who traded the cellars of Walla Walla for a converted family warehouse north of Lisbon, between Bombarral and Obidos. Working with Portuguese varieties and hand-harvested fruit, they make minimal-intervention wines with wild ferments, no fining and no filtering. A young, heartfelt project in the Lisboa hills.
