A minimal interventionist estate, under the ownership of Miguel Morais. Known to be a mild mannered, humble and passionate man, he’s keen on preserving the raw character of Douro. His 40 year old vines grow naturally in slate soils at 300-450m above sea level. Together with celebrated winemaker Luis Seabra, Quinta da Costa do Pinhão is all for organic viticulture and a minimalistic approach to winemaking.
