Camille Thiriet began quite literally in the garage behind Château de Comblanchien! Teaming up with Matt Chittick, whom she met while honing their crafts at Domaine de Bellene, Camille embarked on producing minuscule quantities of wine – quality over quantity. Her first vintage in 2016 was a hands-on, almost medieval affair, involving foot treading, bucket pumping, and hand labelling in an abandoned house without modern amenities. Fast forward to today, Camille manages six hectares of vines transitioning to organic farming, showcasing her profound dedication and ambition. Her wines, celebrated for their expressive noses and careful craftsmanship, have quickly gained a following.
