The brainchild of Australian-born winemaker David Baverstock, the man who helped redraw modern Alentejo and was the first foreigner crowned Portugal's Winemaker of the Year, in partnership with entrepreneur Howard Bilton. Working with Portuguese varieties from fruit around Portalegre and Estremoz, it's a boutique outfit chasing the best of the country's grapes, with a charitable streak supporting the arts to boot.
