When Meursault legend Dominique Lafon went looking for value and old vines in the Mâconnais in 1999, he more or less put the region's fine-wine potential on the map. From higher-altitude parcels around Milly-Lamartine and beyond, the family crafts a range of characterful Chardonnay, all certified organic and farmed biodynamically. The Côte d'Or pedigree shows in every glass.
