“Queen of Chambolle” Ghislaine Barthod is heiress to the Domaine Barthod-Noellat and since the 1980s, she’s masterfully stewarded the estate’s 5.86 hectares. Humble in size, yes, but elevated to international fame with wines celebrated for their finesse and delicacy. Her Pinot Noirs are renowned for growing spellbinding with age: delicate, pure, and perfumed, with an intense mineral core embody the very essence of Chambolle.
