Domaine Gérard Mugneret farms a small, precise range of Vosne-Romanée from some of the village's classic addresses, extending into Nuits-Saint-Georges and the grand cru slopes of Échezeaux. Today Gérard's son Pascal, an engineer by training who took over in 2005, carries the estate forward, keeping to the same patient, traditional winemaking his father practised. The wines favour purity over power, red-fruited and floral, with the silky texture that makes Vosne-Romanée so coveted.
