A chemistry student turned stonemason turned biodynamic firebrand, Mark Angeli has farmed his slice of Anjou this way since planting in 1990, and the Loire is richer for it. Demeter-certified and worked with an agroforestry bent, the estate's Chenin Blanc is the headline act: bottled as Vin de France, all ripeness, mineral tension and gloriously unconcerned with convention.
