Situated in the southern part of Côte de Beaune, the Chevrot family has been making wine in Les Maranges since 1830. Today, the two brothers Pablo and Vincent Chevrot run the show, combining old school techniques with a modern mindset to produce fresh, lively and balanced wines.
Healthy soil is key for the duo, and they believe that a hands-off approach with minimal machinery and no chemical interference (in both the vineyard and in the cellar) is the only way to reach a result that truly express the unique terroir.
Fun fact: Les Maranges gained its own appellation in 1988 – before that it was simply classified as a Côte de Beaune.
