Nestled in the heart of Pomerol, this tiny, storied 4.58-hectare estate is helmed by Julie and Baptiste Guinaudeau; partners in life and in wine. In 2001, at just 20 and 18, Baptiste and Julie took a leap of faith and moved to the estate to continue the legacy of Baptiste's parents. Lafleur's terroir is a winemaker's dream: deep, gravel-rich soils enriched with potassium and iron. They honour that terroir, using only natural fertilisers and accepting painfully low yields to craft wines of unparalleled quality that now rival the legendary Pétrus just across the way. Château Lafleur stands not just as a beacon of excellence but stands as a story of youthful courage and unwavering passion.
