From a mere 4 hectares in the serene village of Écueil, Frédéric "Fred" Savart is crafting some of Champagne's most captivating wines today. His grandfather planted the first vines in 1947, and since 2001, Fred has been managing the vineyards with a holistic approach, ensuring healthy ecosystems. His winemaking approach is unfussy, aiming to reflect the terroirs' unique characteristics. His Champagnes, largely Pinot Noir, with standalone Chardonnay and Pinot Noir options, are celebrated for their vibrant, expressive nature, connecting drinkers intimately to the soil and legacy of their origin.
