One of the most beautiful times in the vineyard has begun: The flowering (floraison in French). During this cycle, the vines are especially vulnerable to damage from wind, rain and unexpected frost. Many winemakers do an enormous amount of work to ensure the protection and health of the coming fruit during this period.

One of the most talented winemakers we work with is Adrien Dhondt from Domaine Dhondt-Grellet in Champagne. We are showcasing two of his amazing wines here plus a few words about Adrien and the domaine.
