Maxime was a strapping 20 year old lad when he found himself in charge of the famed Domaine Georges Noëllat in Vosne-Romanée. That was 2010, and now over a decade later, he’s achieved an almost cult-like status for his wines and is still one of Burgundy’s most revered winemakers.
He’s been trained as a winemaker in Beaune and interned at two other well-known domaines in Vosne-Romanée, Gros Frère et Sœur and Emmanuel Rouget (his uncle) before settling into his new role at Georges Noëllat. The wines from Maxime’s hands are some of the most delicate yet powerful examples of Pinot Noir in our portfolio, and it's an absolute pleasure to share them with you.
