Alix Millot, the vinous virtuoso behind Domaine Jean-Marc Millot, represents the new blood of Burgundy's finest. She took over the family's impressive Grand Cru holdings (including Échezeaux, Grands Échezeaux, and Clos de Vougeot) in 2014 and cranked the volume to eleven, crafting wines through organic viticulture and minimal intervention techniques with natural yeasts. The unique terroir shines through into the wines that seduce immediately, but have the backbone to age gracefully – the sort that make us contemplate the mysteries of the universe.
