“Ca boit libre” is a play on words – "drinking freely" and Savoie Libre (Freedom for Savoie) – and accurately describes these wines by Damien Bastian. He's educated in horticulture and holds years of top level experience under the likes of Jean-François Ganevat in the Jura and fellow Savoie winemaker Dominique Lucas. Starting small not far from the waters of Lake Geneva, Damien has recently decided to take over a total of 3ha. in 2020 to expand his portfolio to cover Chasselas, Altesse, Gamay and Pinot Noir. Vinified without sulfur, his creations are pure, precise and damned delicious with a liberating persona of freedom.
